Gibson Les Paul Guitars

The Top 5 Reasons Les Paul Guitars Rock

Les Paul guitar was so synonymous with music and a lot of people do not even know that man’s name. Polfuss Lester had become the most famous guitar player in the world, and brought the idea of an electric solid body guitar to the Gibson guitar company in the 1950s. Gibson rejected the idea at first, but soon wise brings Lester (now Les Paul) on to help design what will be a piece of music.

Why Les Paul guitar rock?

1. In their 50 year Little Changed. Gibson has made some tweaks to the Les Paul here and there: adding different pickups, change the shape of the neck, etc. To the untrained eye, however, a Les Paul in the 1950s looks pretty much identical to the Les Paul in 2005. This creates a sense of continuity of an entire generation of music makers.

2. Guitar expensive as Rite of Passage. With the exception of bratty rich kids, most people who play Les Paul previously has made a serious investment in their own playing ability. This guitar is the real deal, and often an attractive player real deal.

3. Housewife in Utah Can Name Tunes Played on the Les Paul. Yeah, they probably do not know how many strings have, but use the “Sweet Child O Mine” and they “get it.” The tone of this instrument to do something for us, whether we are inclined to music or not.

4. New & Improved: Now With Robot Brains. If you are a casual observer may not realize that there are guitars out there that own songs. Yep, all you do is play the tuning what you want, and plucked strings. The “Robot Guitar” song itself within a few seconds. Then the guitars have this functionality, but never on the guitar consumer.

5. The Smooth Curves Remind Us of the Hourglass Figure. One observer called the Les Paul “sex with a string.” While sex often comes with strings attached, you get the point: this guitar is a work of art. Music can evoke emotions in us some other things as you can, and additional visual beauty of this guitar only furthers this cause.

There are many more reasons why the Les Paul guitar rock, and with more than fifty years as a Rock n ‘Roll Icons there will be many more to come.
