In 1894, Orville Gibson, founder of the Gibson Guitar Corporation, started making mandolins. From the beginning, Gibson established himself as a quality instrument builder who added his own innovations. His mandolins were modified in such a way that they have a richer sound.

Before Gibson could actually watch the success of his company took off, ie their guitars, in 1918 he died of leukemia. However, the legacy of innovation didn’t end with his death. About Gospel Gibson

Many guitar bang for the money. I cannot imagine playing anything. There is no desire to upgrade or to see what else is out there. Im completely satisfied with the Gospel. Was it lost or stolen I would find me another after a nice long cry. This is only my own acoustic guitar, and, hopefully will never. Really great. So just sitting there begging to be played, and who am I to deny.

Great sound – less boxy, classic rhythm and to play in a band or solo picking flatpick than J45, but the bottom fuller, better projection and articulation of the string, as expected with a longer scale. Large projected, balanced sound to pick (rich and less trebly / shrill than the Taylor 310 and 410) and better for fingerpicking and work capo than J45. If you could choose a guitar for the night, Id prefer to J45 and 310 to live without the company of goods. B-band, very versatile when run through the board. For the price – about as well rounded dred that you can find.
